A while back I expressed that I would love to have a Troji but that I suck at building jigs.

Lillian very generously PMed me and offered to help me build one!  Needless to say I was thrilled for the offer.

So we agreed that Lillian would build the smaller, moving/mechanical parts and I would do the large sides.  We are building this to Rod True's excellent Troji tutorial.

So today I received a package from Lillian.  Check it out:

And here are the parts that Lillian made for me.  They are VERY nicely made with countersunk screws and excellent attention to detail.

And as I always do when someone makes a jig for me like Paul W., Don W., Chris V., have - I ask them to sign it for me!

Lillian thanks a million my friend!!!!!!!!!!

Some people are just a cut above!  Lillian is definately in the cut.  Congratulations, Hesh.  Nice score.

That's very cool! You think you're happy now. Just wait until you try it out! My troji is about the coolest thing in my shop (besides me, of course! ) and the very minute I used it, I couldn't believe that it had taken me so long to get one!

Oh...I thought you meant a Trojan!...nevermind and you can keep it anyway.

Beautiful gesture, Lillian!...and nice work!

...and I'm glad you got the request right

OK. Even though this sounds like part of a punchline to a joke...

So, what's a troji?

Yeah this was VERY nice of Lillian and I greatly appreciate it.

Dave a guitar Troji is a guitar body holder that is very useful for things like scraping the binding and many other uses.  I couldn't find a picture of one for you but perhaps someone else can/will?

JJ - bite me.......

"Troji" A plurality of large, hollow wooden rabbits (see Virgil and Monty Python, e.g.)

Seriously, a specialized clamp for securely holding an entire assembled guitar body without damaging the body.
